Emergency Appeal

Help us continue supporting vulnerable older people who desperately need us during this crisis. You can donate online now using the 'donate now' button. If you would prefer you can make a donation over the telephone - call us on 01903 731800 or you can simply send us a cheque, the address is Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove, Suite 2, First Floor, Anchor Springs, Littlehampton, BN17 6BP. Thank you for your support.

The Coronavirus pandemic has affected us all and in particular older people who may be vulnerable or living alone. Demand for our support has increased dramatically but with many fundraising events and activities cancelled or postponed, we urgently need donations so we can keep providing vital support to those who need us.

Many older people are facing isolation and extreme loneliness and need support now more than ever. Although we have had to temporarily close our clubs and social activities, we have continued to offer information and advice as well as befriending phone calls and meal deliveries to those most in need. We've also adapted other services to ensure we can reach as many people as possible, including those living with or caring for someone with dementia.

Whatever you can donate today will enable us to keep providing this support so that all older people have someone to turn to during these challenging times.

Donate Essentials

During the Coronavirus pandemic, we are offering doorstep deliveries for older people who are housebound. We will be delivering meals, groceries and essential medication to doorsteps as well as our bags of support, knitting kits, CDs/DVDs, books and jigsaws. Please help us by donating items for vulnerable older people in the local community. We most urgently need:

  • Face masks
  • Hand sanitisers
  • Unused and unopened toiletries
  • Sweet treats

Please call us on 01903 731800 or email if you have items you would like to donate.
