First Point of Contact (FPOC) Information Assistant

Hours: 37 per week, occasional evening and weekend working will be required.

Salary:  £19,000

Location: Littlehampton or Horsham Office or other AUKWSBH location to be confirmed. Travel to other sites will be required.

We have an exciting opportunity available and we are looking to recruit a caring, reliable and proactive person to join our First Point of Contact (FPOC) team. You will be answering calls to a wide range of older people, their families and carers, identifying key issues and signposting to relevant services who will be able to support them. You will need excellent communication skills as well as IT and computer skills. You will be supporting the coordinator in recruiting and training volunteers, who will be key to the service as well as supporting the development of our information database.

The successful applicant will have excellent people skills along with a proactive and methodical approach. The role will require a full driving license as travel between Age UK West Sussex, Brighton and Hove sites will be required.
