On 1 October we launched our 2020 Bags of Support. This year has been a difficult and challenging time for us all and in particular for older people. Our Bags of Support have been designed to help provide comfort and reassurance to those who may be vulnerable or needing a little bit of extra support during the pandemic.
The bag was compiled with the pandemic in mind, providing a reusable face mask, hand sanitiser, an activity pack, magazine and other freebies, along with information and advice on the charity’s services, including befriending. As well as information on our Winter Warmer campaign which delivers home-cooked meals, wellbeing and energy advice to over 50’s across West Sussex, Brighton & Hove.
If you would like one of our Bags of Support please call us and we will do our best to get one to you.
If you haven't been able to get your hands on one of the cotton bags you can access our virtual bag below, with resources and information to print out, along with a voucher for a free hot drink at one of the Age UK WSBH centres (valid for a full year).
