We are pleased to announce that we have reopened some sessions at Devonshire House.  It's a scaled down version and will be reviewed depending on local statistics and restrictions. We have used government and local guidelines to endeavour the safe delivery of service for your loved ones.

If anyone has any questions or concerns they would like to discuss please contact one of the team on 07514 990 684 or 0151 482 3456 😊 for more information.

For people diagnosed with dementia, coping with a such a diagnosis, in any form, can be a difficult time for all involved.  Sometimes it is important for a carer to be able to have a break from caring for a few hours, reassured that their loved one is being looked after in a safe and welcoming environment.
For people who are becoming frail and isolated, getting out of the house and being able to socialise with other people, whilst also receiving help with any personal care that they need, is essential.
Our Day Care centres are designed to provide exactly this type of support.

Early Onset Dementia

We've witnessed a growth on the Wirral in the number of people under 65 being diagnosed with dementia.  To support these residents we are able to offer a bespoke service within the Bradbury Wing of the Devonshire Resource Centre.

 Soclally isolated groups

For people who do not have a diagnosis of dementia, but who are physically frail and isolated, we also offer a day care group at Meadowcroft on Wednesdays and the Devonshire Resource Centre on Mondays and Fridays.  These groups are designed around a programme of activities to give people the chance to receive the personal care they need while getting out of the house and meeting new people.
