Dementia Does Not DiscrimintateReminder Finders is a form of Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST), supporting people who have had a recent diagnosis of mild/moderate Dementia.

The 12-week programme can help people to maintain their cognitive skills, create new opportunities to build friendships in a safe environment, and supports both participants and carers to gain better understanding of the diagnosis at an earlier stage, with seamless links into long term services.

Applicants must have an understanding of dementia and its impact on the person with a diagnosis and their carer and wider family, therefore knowledge of Equal Opportunities, Diversity & Inclusion policies and practice is essential, as is knowledge of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policies and procedures
You must have the ability to organise your own time and be flexible and be able to communicate effectively
You must have the ability to assess risks, anticipate difficulties and successfully address them and have the ability to develop services and review their success at regular intervals
HOURS OF DUTY 20 hours per week
WORKING DUTY 3 days (may include weekend/evenings)
SALARY £8.60 per hour
LENGTH OF CONTRACT Until March 2022
Full Driving Licence – car is essential for this role
You must be willing to work flexibly to provide cover for evenings and weekends
