Telephone support is a free service delivered by volunteers, offering older people and carers a weekly supportive telephone call.
Are you lonely? Would you benefit from someone to talk to?
Our volunteers can make a weekly telephone call, offering reassurance and the chance to have a friendly and informal chat.
Volunteers make contact from Monday to Thursday and monitor how those who are receiving the service are progressing.
By encouraging discussion our volunteers are able to find out what type of support is required and can help address the issues at the heart of isolation.
