Set up an online funeral collection

In just 4 simple steps, you'll create an online collection you can share with friends and family.

If you'd like your online funeral collection to become a Tribute Fund to your loved one, all you need to do is hide the funeral service details or, if you'd rather, leave them on display. You can keep your online funeral collection open for as long as you want. 

Order funeral service collection envelopes

We can provide you with envelopes, each printed with clear instructions, which can be passed on to anyone who would like to donate. Collection envelopes can be used before or after the service, and can also be shared with people who couldn't attend.

You can order Age UK funeral donation envelopes by emailing us at inmemory@ageuk.org.uk or by calling 0800 077 8751, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please allow 7 days between ordering your envelopes and them arriving. 

Pay in your collection

Thank you for choosing to support Age UK in this special way. You can pay in your funeral collection in 3 ways.

Online

You can use our funeral collections donation page to pay in the money from your funeral collection.

By post

You can send a cheque to our office, payable to "Age UK". Our office address is: 

In Memory Team Age UK, 7th Floor, One America Square, 17 Crosswall, London, EC3N 2LB. 

Please include your name and address, so we can send you a thank you letter and confirm receipt of your donation, as well as the name of the person you're donating in memory of. 

Alternatively, you can download, print off, complete and sign a donation in memory form and return it to us at the address above.

By telephone

To make your funeral collection donation by telephone, please call us on 0800 077 8751, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Does it cost anything to set up an online funeral collection?

No. Setting up an online funeral collection doesn't cost anything. Age UK has a partnership with MuchLoved to provide this service for you for free.

How do I tell people about my online funeral collection?

There are lots of ways to share your online funeral collection with other people, all of which you control. The collection has its own unique website address (URL) which is easy to share by email, plus there are optional social network share buttons on the notice itself as well as an ‘Invite Manager’ within your Settings area which automatically emails an invite to view to anyone you choose.

Can I make my online funeral collection private?

Yes, You're in complete control of the privacy settings. This also means you can choose to approve any messages that are posted to the page before they go live.

How do I close my online funeral collection?

It’s easy to deactivate your online funeral collection - simply log in to your page and follow the instructions. Alternatively, you can keep the page going as a Tribute Fund, which allows you to continue to share photos and memories, meaning you always have a place to come to remember your loved one.

How do the funds raised from my online funeral collection get to Age UK?

Any money raised from your online funeral collection gets securely transferred to Age UK. There's nothing you need to do to make sure these donations gets to us. Thank you so much for choosing to support Age UK.
