Volunteering with Age UK

Volunteering with Age UK can be an enormously rewarding experience. Volunteers give their time and effort in so many ways to make an incredible difference to those in later life.

Without volunteers we would not be able to offer the information, advice, help and support to older people who need it, at the time when they need it most. Giving your time as a volunteer will make a huge difference.  We have lots of volunteering roles to choose from. The Silver Line Helpline

Can you empathise and listen to older people, be warm and friendly providing time-sensitive information, and commit to at least 4 hours a week for at least a year? If so, you could play an important role as a volunteer on our Silver Line Helpline.
