Age needs one voice. Now it has:
Age Cymru is the new force combining Age Concern Cymru and
Help the Aged in Wales. Age Cymru is a member of the Age UK family.
Ageing Well in Wales is a programme which promotes healthy living in Wales through investment in community groups and health enhancing programmes.
Key to the success of our Ageing Well programme are the Ageing Well volunteers who are trained and deployed to offer support to older people. To date the Age Cymru Healthy Ageing team run successful Nordic Walking and Low Impact Functional Training (LIFT) exercise sessions which are delivered by Ageing Well volunteers. We are now extending the areas where volunteers can help make that difference.
If you are interested in becoming an Ageing Well volunteer, visit our volunteer page to see current roles or contact our Healthy Ageing Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org
