Welcome to Angharad Phillips - our new Health Initiatives Officer.
Angharad is job sharing with our colleague Rhian Pearce to support and promote the health, wellbeing and independence of older people.
“I am really excited to join the Healthy Ageing Team as Health Initiatives Officer”, says Angharad.
“This role will give me the opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle for older people and ensure that the right information is available to enhance their wellbeing.
“We can all take control of our own health and well-being through the choices we make – I aspire to a positive future for all older people.”
Commenting on Angharad’s appointment, Claire Bottomley, our Healthy Ageing Manager says:
“We are delighted to welcome Angharad to Age Cymru's Healthy Ageing Team.
“Angharad brings a range of knowledge and experience to the team – through her extensive knowledge in health from her MSc in Public Health and Health Promotion.
“We are all looking forward to working with Angharad.”
