In 2010, Age Concern and Help the Aged joined forces to become Age UK, a new national charity for later life. IN 2011 Age Concern Harrow became Age UK Harrow.

We are an independent charity and our aim is to support older people in Harrow, from all walks of life and ethnic communities.

Volunteering - We need you

Whatever your age, giving a hour of your time each week can make a huge difference to an older person.  We depend on the enthusiasm of our 100+ volunteers to achieve most of our work. Please join us and use your skills in the community, you'll enjoy it!

Age UK Harrow has achieved the Organisational Quality Standards (OQS) for local Age UKs in England. The OQS are assessed externally and endorsed by the Charity Commission.

We have also achieved the Advice Quality Standard for  advice and casework for older people.
