Age UK Lincolnshire is expanding to meet the growing demand for our exceptional services, and we’re looking for dedicated Support Workers in Lincoln LN1 and LN6 areas.
This isn’t your typical support worker role. At Age UK Lincolnshire, we do things differently.
We focus on non-personal care support that truly enhances the lives of older people, helping them stay independent, comfortable, and connected in their own homes. A key part of this role involves thorough household cleaning, ensuring our clients feel safe, relaxed, and proud of their living spaces. It’s about dignity, respect, and making everyday life easier.
About the Role
- Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00
- Zero-hour contract
- £12.21 per hour
- Driving licence essential
- Travel time paid
- No personal care involved
Support Workers make up a third of our workforce and are central to our vision: a world where older people flourish. You’ll provide tailored support that includes:
- Household cleaning and tidying
- Shopping assistance
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Friendly companionship
Every support package is tailored to the individual, built around their unique needs and preferences. Your role is to empower people to maintain their independence, not by taking over, but by walking alongside them. We achieve this by working collaboratively with care professionals from Age UK Lincolnshire or other care agencies.

Unlike many care roles, this position:

- Offers daytime hours only, no evenings or weekends
