Age UK North Yorkshire Coast & Moors is a local independent charity, serving the needs of local people aged 50+. In the county of North Yorkshire we operate in the Borough of Scarborough, and the whole District of Ryedale; this includes Scarborough, Whitby, Filey, Pickering, Malton, Helmsley, and Kirbymoorside.
Whilst we are part of the larger Age UK family, we are governed by our own Board of Trustees and responsible for creating our own income. All the money raised is spent locally on services for people aged 50+ who live in our area. We rely on the generosity of the local community, funders and people like you. This helps us to keep operating services that are so vital to the people of our community.
