Gym suite

We have a fully equipped state-of-the-art gym which opens daily from 8am to 3pm and has sessions costing just £2.50 for members and £4.50 for non-members or pay just £17 a month for unlimited use. Find out more about our gym and fitness classes here.

Therapy room

In need of luxurious pampering at affordable prices? Our therapy room creates a haven of relaxation where the day's cares melt away. Beauty therapist, Jill, provides a variety of treatments on alternative Mondays and every Tuesday. The therapy room also hosts other treatments including Chiropody with Sally on alternative Mondays and also every Thursday and Friday and Holistic therapies with Maria on Wednesdays. Non-members are welcome to come along to the centre at a small charge.

Cafe

Whether you are meeting for breakfast, lunch or a cup of tea and a chat, the Laburnum Cafe has a delicious range of snacks and a selection of freshly prepared home-cooked meals available daily.

The extensive menu has something to suit all tastes and budgets. There's sure to be something to tickle your tastebuds.

Cost of membership

Full use of the centre costs just £60 a year. Activities are provided at a reduced member rate or by donation. Non-members may attend activities at the discounted rate by purchasing a day

membership for £2. Payment for the centre or gym membership at the Laburnum by cash, cheque, credit/debit card or annual direct debit.

Please submit your completed membership form to the centre.

Transport

Minibus collection is available via Sammy Community Transport for anyone unable to reach the Laburnum Centre independently. To arrange a return journey, please contact SAMMY directly on 01243 827 821.

Help us!

The Laburnum Centre relies on volunteers who help with the day-to-day running of the centre. There are many opportunities to volunteer, whether as a receptionist, member of cafe or kitchen staff or in a number of other roles which help us run our activities. If you feel you could spare some time to help us out, please get in touch.
