Join Our Team as a Senior Coordinator (Maternity Cover)!

About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Coordinator to take the lead in keeping our Laburnum Centre in Bognor Regis running smoothly and help deliver high-quality services for older people. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the community, combining administration, building management, and coordination of activities.

You’ll be the go-to person for the day-to-day operations of the centre, working closely with colleagues, volunteers, partners, and building users to ensure everything runs safely, efficiently, and with a warm welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily administration, customer service, and communications.
  • Support volunteers, sessional staff, and building hirers.
  • Coordinate and promote activities, helping older people get involved and stay connected.
  • Manage records, bookings, invoices, and Charitylog updates.
  • Ensure the building is safe, welcoming, and compliant.
  • Work with colleagues and partners to deliver high-quality community services.

  • Skilled at juggling tasks and keeping everything running smoothly.
  • Friendly, approachable, and passionate about making a positive difference.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and managing data.
  • Excited to work in a community-focused, collaborative environment.

This is a 12 month fixed-term role covering maternity leave and offers the opportunity to play a key role in a vibrant, welcoming community centre, making a real difference to the lives of local older people.
