Our Active Living Home Support service enhances and enriches the lives of older people by visiting homes to carry out specific, agreed tasks.

What is Active Living Support?

Our Active Living Home Support service is designed to help you, or your loved one, remain independent within the home.

This service is available throughout certain areas of Cornwall (capacity dependent)

We can help with:
· General cleaning and tidying (hoovering, dusting, mopping, changing bins, oven and fridge clean)
· Changing bedlinen
· Laundry and ironing
· Shopping (food and general items)
· Picking up prescriptions
· Preparing light meals
· Dog walking
· Home Admin (support with making phone calls, booking appointments, contacting service providers, organising paperwork)
· Companionship (going for a walk, visit a cafe, jigsaws, arts & crafts)
· Accompanying to medical appointment

Our Staff

Our staff deliver a safe and caring service - with an emphasis on promoting independence, health, and well-being. They go through a rigorous screening process including two references, a DBS check (for criminal records and other important information) and a comprehensive training programme.

Requesting Active Living Support

Please call our Gateway on 01872 266383. A team member will ask you some questions about yourself or family member to find out some general information and tasks required.

You will be contacted shortly to arrange a home visit. During this visit our team member will have a conversation to find out ‘what matters to you’ and to discuss your specific needs. If you would like to go ahead with the service, we will complete some paperwork.
