Lucy's Kitchen joins the Chatty Cafe Scheme
We are pleased to announce that Age UK Lindsey is continuing to work towards reducing social isolation and loneliness by joining the Chatty Cafe Scheme. Launched in 2017 by mother-of-one Alexandra Hoskyn, after seeing how lonely some customers were in a local supermarket cafe, the scheme has gone from strength to strength. There are now over 200 cafes in the scheme, and Lucy's Kitchen is proud to be a part of it. If you are happy to chat, or are usually put off visiting cafes through fear of being on your own and would like someone to chat to, then just look for the Chatter Natter table, you'll soon see the blue sign. There's no commitment and no obligation to make freinds; just sit, chat, enjoy a coffee or two, and the company of others.
