Coronavirus Update 27th March

Published on 27 March 2020 09:59 AM

During these difficult and unprecedented times, Age UK Lindsey remains committed to providing the best support to older people in East Lindsey, West Lindsey and North Lincolnshire.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, staff and volunteers, it has been necessary to suspend many of our services and all social activities, but this enables us to focus our efforts on maintaining access to essential support, information and advice, at a time when it is needed most. Our buildings may be closed, but our telephone lines remain very much open.

We will continue to share information via our website and social media, aiming to be a reliable, easy-to-understand source of advice for all older people, their friends, family and carers. We will also work with our partners to increase the scope of our support. However, it is vital that we continue to seek funding to enable us to sustain our work.

The closure of our shops will have a significant impact on our ability to deliver services, so please, if you can, donate today and help us to help the most vulnerable people in your community.
