Providing free, independent information and advice for people over 50 and their carers with a range of information covering general advice, local services, money and benefits.
We offer advice and support in a variety of areas:
- Pension age benefits
- Form filling (we can only help with a specific selection of forms)
- Local services
- Providing factsheets and guides
- General advice
Help with general information on local services and if any specialist help is needed we can connect you with other organisations who can support you.
We can dispel myths around who is entitled to claim benefits. Benefits rates change annually as can people's finances and circumstances, so it's worth checking eligibility. It's really easy for us to check if you are eligible and the additional weekly income can make a big difference to your life.
We may be able to assist with completing forms by appointment but may have to refer you to other organisations due to staffing capacity. This service is only available via a scheduled appointment – please ensure you contact the department using the details below.
