Our Head Office Reception is open each morning from 9am to 1.00pm and can help you with basic enquiries regarding older people, their families and carers. We provide a wide variety of information from our vast array of services and collective wealth of staff knowledge. We also provide factsheets and guides regarding many topics as well as making sure you know where to go and who to speak with to gain the information and support you need.
We offer advice and support in a variety of areas:

• Form filling (we can only help with a specific selection of forms)
• Local services
• Understanding documents
• Providing factsheets and guides
• General advice
Signposting
Help with general information on local services and if any specialist help is needed we can connect you with other organisations who can support you.
If this is in areas outside of Age UK Oldham’s expertise, we will do our best to signpost and connect you with the relevant local or national services who will be able to provide you with the help you require.
Accessing this service:
Outside of our opening hours and at weekends the Age UK National Telephone Advice Line on 0800 055 6112 can be contacted which provides free, independent advice 365 days per year.
Every day the telephone lines are open from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. including bank holidays.
