Corporate Partnerships
Why partner with Age Scotland
Sadly, right now, older people are facing unimaginable challenges such as poverty, ill health, lack of adequate health and social care, loneliness and social isolation.
These challenges have been intensified by the covid-19 pandemic. Tragically we anticipate the challenges of the pandemic to effect older people for many months to come.
Covid-19 challenges everyone, but older people are the hardest hit. More older people than ever are lonely, living alone, isolated and scared. Scared about becoming ill, buying food, accessing medicines. Worried about how they will cope on their own if they become ill.
Partner with us and support our work and together we can be there to offer information, advice and support to those who need it most.
Ways to get involved
There are many ways you can support our work, from a corporate donation to a longer strategic partnership.
A single staff lead fundraiser or a longer charity of the year fundraising approach.
We are not only passionate about fundraising and supporting older people, we can also be there to help you understand your older customers or workforce. We are all living longer so we can work with you to support your staff, help them support their loved ones and plan for their own later life.
Corporate Christmas Appeal
We are looking for organisations who can help us be there to support older people this festive season and help wrap them in reassurance that someone cares.
Coronavirus has changed life for everyone but older people have been the hardest hit, many are incredibly lonely and isolated and continuing restrictions along with the challenges the winter season brings is exacerbating this and having a devastating effect on their mental health.
Can you help us be there for those who need it most this Christmas?

Corporate Donations
A corporate donation is a great way to support our work. Allow us to use the donation where the need is greatest or donate to a specific area of our work and rest assured your support will impact the lives of older people across Scotland.

Charity of the Year / Employee Led Fundraising
Whether a single employee led fundraiser such as taking part in one of our events, or a longer charity of the year approach. Choose Age Scotland and we will ensure all opportunities are maximised. Our fundraising team will help you to both raise as much money as possible to support older people, whilst ensuring continuous engagement with your employees to show the impact of the money raised.
Alongside purely fundraising partnerships we can offer strategic partnerships that both raise funds and work with your organisation on areas such as understanding older customers, creating an age inclusive work environment or supporting employees with early signs of dementia or caring for those with dementia.

Cause-Related Marketing
Aligning our brands through cause-related marketing is a great way to increase awareness and drive sales whilst raising much-needed funds to support older people.

The Big Wheesht
Take part in our Big Wheesht challenge on 16 September 2021and support the charity whilst putting your entrepreneurial skills to the test against other business leaders and influencers.
We are looking for TEN business leaders to raise £1000 whilst ‘Hauding their Wheesht’?
Have you got what it takes?

Sponsorship
By sponsoring awards at our annual conference, a highlight of the year, you can publicly celebrate the great work of older people’s groups across Scotland. Our conference attracts over 300 delegates and is an ideal way to engage with a large audience.
Other sponsorship options are available such as sponsoring a fundraising event, awareness raising event or a helpline advisor.

Gifts-in-Kind
Giving a gift in kind can be a valuable way to support our work. From pro-bono support, donations to our charity shop or Christmas gifts to deliver to our local member groups.

Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is an easy way for your employees to fundraise through the Payroll Giving scheme. Donations are taken before tax, giving immediate tax relief on the donation.

Corporate Volunteering
Volunteer to support though coin collections, fundraising events, our Big Knit campaign or through work with our local member groups.
However you choose to work with us, we are dedicated to ensuring it’s the perfect partnership to fit your organisation, whilst also helping you to support our work!
