Awards
By sponsoring our annual awards, a highlight of the year, you can publicly celebrate the great work of older people’s groups across Scotland. Our awards ceremony attracts over 150 delegates and is an ideal way to engage with a larger audience.
Calendar
Every year, we produce an Age Scotland calendar including practical advice for staying happy and healthy. This year we will distribute 20,000 copies which go to households across Scotland. Sponsor a page in our calendar and your organisation will have the opportunity to have your brand in homes across Scotland.
Campaigns
Growing older can bring new challenges and opportunities, and when help is needed Age Scotland is there. Together with your organisation we can collaborate on joint campaigns to benefit older people across Scotland and raise awareness of your organisation and its services. Previous campaigns we have ran have included partnering with SGN on a campaign highlighting the importance of having a CO alarm and providing useful tips and services that can help older people stay safe and well in their home. We have also run a campaign with Scottish Water on the importance of staying hydrated in later life.
Events
We have a number of events in our calendar such as our Time To Talk Tea Party or our Corporate Big Wheesht challenge. By sponsoring one of our events, you can help us be there for older people that really need us.
Friendship Calls
To help combat the increasing issue of loneliness, we introduced our friendship line in 2020. We’re here to listen, provide friendship and support. We offer a regular weekly call for older people to check they are doing ok and have a blether. Sponsor a friendship call and with your support we can be there for many more, lonely older people across Scotland.
Helpline Advisor
Our skilled helpline advisors provide information and advice on a range of topics such as benefits and entitlements, staying safe and warm, social care, housing and much more. You can help us grow our team and increase our reach by sponsoring a helpline advisor.
Publications
We offer free publications on a wide range of topics relevant to later life in Scotland. Last year we distributed 103,019 paper copies and there was 27,622 guides downloaded from our website. Sponsor one of our publications or more and support our work while gaining exposure for your organisation.
Thermometers
For older people in particular, keeping their home at a safe temperature is vital for health and wellbeing. There is an opportunity for your organisation to co-brand our thermometers. They are extremely popular, and we now distribute over 1,000 a month to individuals and through services that support older people.
