What is a virtual gift? 

A virtual gift is a donation made on behalf of someone else as a gift, typically for a special occasion or in lieu of a traditional physical gift.

When you purchase a virtual gift from Age Scotland, your donation will help fund friendship calls to older people in Scotland.

The Age Scotland friendship line is a lifeline for so many older people, many of whom have no one else to turn to. We're here to listen, provide friendship and offer support. An estimated 218,000 older people in Scotland feel lonely all or most of the time. No one should have no one!

• a digital download for you to personalise and send by email or print at home. 
• a personalised and printed version sent directly to you or your loved one in the post.

How it works

Digital download - download, personalise and print your own voucher.

• Download your voucher instantly from your thank you email, fill in the recipient's and sender details and print at home or forward on to the recipient digitally.
• Your voucher is best edited on a computer, iPad or iPhone. Unfortunately it cannot be edited on Android devices without additional software. 
• Alternatively you can print and handwrite directly onto the voucher and gift it to your loved one. 
• Should you order multiple vouchers for the same value, you will receive one voucher which can be personalised multiple times.

Personalised and printed - recieve a high-quality printed card, sent straight to your chosen address. 

• When you purchase a personalised gift voucher we will populate the recipient and sender details, print on card and post first class directly to your chosen address.
• To order multiple printed vouchers, please order each voucher individually or contact the fundraising team below.
• Please allow up to 5 working days before dispatch. 

Please note that the virtual gifts support funding calls to older people on our friendship line.
