This role involves calling users of the Age Scotland Helpline to collect feedback on the effectiveness of the service.
Volunteers complement the work of our employees, enabling us to reach older people and do more on their behalf. We also believe that volunteers should find their experience rewarding; by learning new skills or developing existing ones, meeting new people and making a difference to Scotland’s older people.

Providing calls of companionship to people who are 50 and over, who may live alone or feel alone and would benefit from a chat.
This role involves collating and preparing the guides ordered by callers to our helpline.

We are looking for technical support volunteers who will ensure the smooth running of the Comradeship Circle by connecting veterans to the call, monitoring connection throughout the hour, and updating the contact management database.
