Free online benefits workshops

The benefits system is complicated; it can be difficult to work out what you are entitled to, and how to claim it.

Our Benefits for people over State Pension age workshop aims to raise awareness of the common benefits that support older people, including Pension Credit, Attendance Allowance, Carer’s Allowance, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction. It covers the main rules, how to make a claim and what to do if something goes wrong.

Our Attendance Allowance: completing the form workshop aims to help anyone who intends to complete an Attendance Allowance form, for themselves or for someone else. It will give you information, strategies and tips to make the process more simple and less daunting.

You can take part in our workshops online, using the free Zoom app.  All that’s needed is a laptop / computer / tablet / smartphone and an internet connection. We do the rest!

This training is funded by SGN, through a new partnership aimed at helping more older people across Scotland get access to the help that is available to them.
