Listen: Easing the lockdown - what it will mean for older people

22 May 2020

"There are two parts to this. Firstly, there must not be a blanket age range applied to those who should stay home, irrespective of their health. And the second part is that for people who will need to continue shielding, the full support package remains in place."

Listen to BBC Radio Scotland as Age Scotland's Head of Policy and Communications, Adam Stachura, discusses the impact of lockdown on older people, why there shouldn't be any blanket age discrimination as measures ease, and what support must stay in place for those older people who really need it.
