Our Here2Care service provides person centered care for adults in their own homes.

What help can I get?
Within your own home we can support you with daily personal care activities like getting dressed, showering/bathing, going to the toilet, support with meal preperation, assisting with eating, providing companionship and giving help with daily living tasks.

How does it work?
One of our supervisors will visit you at home to discuss the support that you require. We will then match one of our workers to you and they will come at times that are suitable to you.

We understand that it is important for you to feel confident about who comes into your home. We interview, take references and train all of our workers. All Home Care staff are regsitered with the SSSC and PVG checked before entering your home. All workers carry an Age Scotland Orkney Identity badge.

Age Scotland Orkney will regularly review the service to ensure you are happy with the support that you are receiving.

How often will I get help?
Each client is different in terms of the assistance they require. We offer a minimum of one hour per week but can visit as often as is needed.

We always aim to be as flexible as possible to accommodate the individual needs of our clients.
