Planning for Your Future

Age Scotland mid life planning

Support and enable your employees to prepare for life after work.

Our Planning For Your Future workshops allow older workers to prepare for retirement and to feel comfortable talking about their plans with their employers.

Our Planning For Your Future workshops enable employees over 50 to better prepare for later life and to feel more comfortable having honest and open discussions with their employers about retirement.  This will also result in a tangible benefit to organisations in terms of resourcing and succession planning.

The workshop provides independent and impartial advice in the following areas:

  • Time & activities in retirement
  • What will you do next?
  • Money matters & tax
  • Legal issues
  • Health & well-being

These workshops are available both as an engaging virtual session and face-to-face when permitted by Covid restrictions.  We host open sessions most months of the year and also run in-house workshops for organisations.  They are hosted by experts in the various topics with time for discussions and questions.

If you are an individual looking to start planning for your retirement and are interested in attending our workshop as part of your workplace learning and development, please feel free to download our brochure below and forward on to your employer.  We work with many organisations who fund places on our open workshops for their employees.

We are delighted to be able to offer our Planning For Your Future workshop as an engaging virtual session whilst face-to-face workshops aren't possible.  Both our open sessions and our bespoke company workshops can be facilitated in this way.  They are hosted by experts in the various topics with time for discussions and questions.

Workshop outcomes

What do employers and employees think?

Watch our short film to find out what organisations like Sodexo have to say about our Planning For Your Future workshops.

This course has given me so many things to think about which I would not have even considered. The programme was very well structured and so informative. The presenters were all so friendly and knowledgeable. I would go as far as to say one of the best and most interesting courses I have ever attended. I wrote down everything!
