Campaign to ensure older people claim all benefits

The Government recently announced that up to £5.5 billion of Pension Credit, Housing and Council Tax Benefit is being left unclaimed each year.

Last year, Age UK put £120 million back into the pockets of 500,000 older people.

More Money in Your Pocket roadshow

During September and October, the Moneybus travelled the country to increase take-up of benefits amongst older people who are entitled to, but not claiming Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit and Attendance Allowance.

The response was amazing and we managed to help people claim more than £300,000.
