Will you complete the Dash to beat loneliness?

It's a shocking statistic, but more than 1.2 million older people are chronically lonely in the UK, including more than 31,000 in West Yorkshire. The money you help raise through the Abbey Dash allows us to continue to provide companionship and support to those who have no one to turn to.

Fundraisers dressed up as superheroes for the Leeds 10k

Fundraising for Age UK couldn't be simpler. Simply set up your personal fundraising page on JustGiving, and start making a huge difference to the lives of older people.

  • Raise your time - Why not set your fundraising target as the finishing time you’re chasing at this year’s Dash? Sweating for a sub-35 or happy with an hour - it all counts!
  • Dressed to dash - We love spotting a variety of fancy dresses on our course. Pluck up the courage and dress to impress in exchange for sponsorship from friends.
  • Matched funding - Don't forget that whatever you raise could be matched by your employer.

Whatever you raise, every penny will help us reach more chronically lonely older people all over the country.
