Age UK is the new force combining Age Concern England and
Help the Aged in England.
The Big Knit is a joint campaign between Age UK and innocent drinks to help vulnerable older people. You knit the hats, innocent drinks wear them, and 25p of every drink sold goes to Age UK.
We are pleased to announce that The Big Knit campaign 2012 helped to raise over £115,000 for Age UK’s Spread the Warmth campaign, which will help keep older people warm this winter.

If you missed the chance to get involved in 2012 - don't worry! The Big Knit will be back and bigger than ever in 2013.
As many as 25,000 older people may die needlessly this winter because of the cold in England and Wales. Spread the Warmth is Age UK's campaign to prevent these deaths.
In addition to raising much-needed funds for the Spread the Warmth campaign,the Big Knit is a great way to bring people and communities together.
