Evidence based programme of activities for people with mild - moderate dementia/mild cognitive impairment. Group programmes are delivered in Halton, St Helens, Knowsley and Warrington.

What is MCST?

Our MCST programme called 'My Time' is a evidence based approach to supporting memory, thinking skills and quality of life for people living with mild to moderate dementia or cognitive impairment. It uses activities like word games, quizzes, puzzles, gentle movement, sharing past memories and arts & crafts to help keep your memory, mind and thinking working well.

Who is MCST for and how can it help me?

MCST is for people with mild to moderate dementia, or Mild Cognitive Impairment (memory and thinking issues). People who have been to an MCST group say it is enjoyable, fun and helps them to learn more about their condition and how to better manage it.

How to join an MCST group

- You can get in touch yourself or a friend, family member or health worker can ask us for you (with your permission.)

- Fill in the MCST form (linked below), or call us and we’ll send you a paper one.

- Someone from our team will then visit you at home for a chat to see if the MCST programme is right for you. If it is, we’ll invite you to join the programme.
