You should be getting the money you are entitled to. At Age UK Mid Mersey we aim to help those 50+ get the money they are entitled to. In St Helens, Information, Advice and Advocacy is open to everyone 18+.
We can give you access to a telefriending service, pairing an older person with a befriender to help combat loneliness. A face-to-face Befriending service is available in St Helens for those who are most isolated.
Age UK Mid Mersey is committed to making positive changes to the way older people are perceived by our wider society. Our “Don’t be a Stranger” campaign is the first step to getting people to recognise that older people living in their midst might be lonely.
We offer a range of opportunities for people to meet up for companionship, discussion, gentle activity and support. Not available in Warrington.
We offer a range of craft, dance and exercise activities in St Helens; there are mixed craft and activity sessions at our Roby Community Hub; and tea & social dances in Warrington.
