We run a befriending service, matching older people with a volunteer to help provide companionship.
We provide practical assistance with anything from cleaning, laundry and ironing through to light meal preparation, picking up prescriptions and companionship.
With a fresh selection of affordable foods from sandwiches, jacket potatoes, paninis, salads and cakes there is plenty from you to choose from.
There are several opportunities for Trustees. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your experience and skills to an organisation to help improve the health and wellbeing of older people.
We provide over 50 regular weekly exercise, social and learning activities to ensure you keep fit, have fun and learn new skills in later life.
Most of us want to live independently in our own homes for as long as possible, but as we get older we may need some support and assistance.

Organise an event or take part in a personal challenge to raise funds. Every penny raised for Age UK South Tyneside supports older people in your local community - benefiting your family, friends and neighbours.
Age UK and Innocent have teamed up for The Big Knit! Knit little hats for the bottles of smoothies and every bottle sold will donate 25p to Age UK.
No matter what your age, being loved and cared for is important to all of us, and during Christmas it is even more important than usual.
