Through various partnership initiatives we have been able to expand the opportunities for older adults to remain active through sport and exercise. We are always ready to explore new opportunities alongside other more‘traditional’ approaches such as cycling and walking.

Keeping Older People Connected
A Digital Inclusion pilot programme to help older isolated people use video technology to feel less alone and have improved skills and better wellbeing.

Cuppa Club
Supporting The Ridings Wakefield, in a monthly meet-up event, promoting friendship and community in Wakefield City Centre.

TIme for Tea is a social gathering event at convenient, easy to get to locations.

Raise money for Age UK Wakefield District by getting crafty with Age UK and Innocent Drink's Big Knit Campaign.

Walking Football
Working in partnership with Wakefield Walking Football club and two new locations to provide football sessions for the over 50's.
