Age UK Wandsworth joins Jo Cox Commission to raise awareness of loneliness.
The Commission on Loneliness was started by MP Jo Cox before her murder last year, which took place in Birstall as she was about to start her constituency drop in sessions. The Commission is a cross party initiative designed to raise public awareness and mobilise action to tackle loneliness, and launched on 31 January this year.
Honouring the memory of Jo Cox MP, the Commission will highlight the millions of lonely people of all ages in our communities and what we can all do to change this.
