Age UK Wolverhampton is a local independent charity that has been delivering services for older people in the City for 70 years. Without the support of volunteers we simply would not be able to continue operating.

Who can volunteer?

Almost anyone over the age of 18 can be a volunteer for Age UK Wolverhampton. We have a wide range of opportunities, suiting people with different skills. Please note some roles require DBS checks. If you have recently retired, are a student, unemployed or you just want to give something back to the local community, then taking in a volunteer role with Age UK Wolverhampton could give you the experience and the satisfaction you need.

Daytime Disco Volunteer - helping to set up discos, greet attendees and warmly welcome newcomers
Experienced Knitting/Craft Volunteer - supporting older people to socialise and take part in our knitting group activities
Friendship Club Volunteers - helping to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at our regular Friendship Clubs
