Computer classes for older people

Many local Age UKs offer computer training for older people. In these course, things are explained clearly and in plain English to help you get online. 

There's so much you can do using computers and the internet – from connecting with friends and family to shopping for groceries. Yet many older people are missing out. This is why many local Age UKs provide computer and internet training for older people. 

These courses offer easy-to-follow training so that as many of us as possible can enjoy the advantages of computers and the internet.

What if I can't find a computer course?

If there isn't currently a local Age UK providing a computer training course in your area, there may be other organisations providing specialised computer courses and taster sessions for older people near you:

• Call Age UK's Advice Line on 0800 678 1602 to ask about the opportunities in your nearest Age UK and to find out about any other local training opportunities.
• Online Centres Network provides access to the internet and help using it, and some centres also offer training courses. Find a centre near you.
• Ask at your local library about computer training opportunities.
