Techy Tea Party

On Tuesday 9 September, older people across the UK got to grips with the latest technology at EE’s National Techy Tea Party Day, in partnership with Age UK.

Over 500 EE stores opened their doors to Techy Tea Party guests, where EE's expert staff were on hand to help everyone get online and enjoy the benefits that the internet brings.

Over a cup of tea and biscuits, guests learned how to take a selfie, make the most of their tablet and do their online grocery shopping.

Age UK ambassador June Whitfield CBE hosted her own special tea party at the Age UK centre in Hackney. Watch her discuss the benefits of being online.
