Local charity Age UK Bradford District and the Elite Collection wedding venue Hollins Hall are holding a new and preloved wedding fayre on Sunday 3rd March from 11am until 2pm. The wedding fayre will enable brides, the bridal party, and wedding guests to purchase new and nearly new outfits to suit all budgets. The charity has a collection of donated clothing and accessories meaning this one's not just about the bride!

Mandy Miller, Senior Retail & Distribution Assistant at Age UK Bradford District, said "We often have items donated that do not fit within our standard retail operations. An opportunity like the wedding fayre is a fantastic way to showcase the quality items we have. It's not just wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses, we have a selection of quality brands such as Jacque Vert which would make ideal mother-of-the-bride or groom outfits."

Nicola Withers, Retail Assistant added, "We have all sorts of amazing items donated, including hats, fascinators, and handbags. Some of the items are brand new with tags still attached. If you have a wedding to attend or are planning on going to the races, you can pick up a bargain outfit."

Purchasing a preloved wedding dress is not only a pocket-friendly option it also helps towards having a more eco-friendly wedding with recycled and unique fashion options. Within the collection are vintage wedding dresses as well as modern designs.

A wedding fayre wouldn't be complete without a selection of wedding suppliers allowing attendees to plan every part of their big day. Experts from the industry have hand-selected Bradford-based wedding suppliers and staff from Hollins Hall will be available to answer any questions about the wedding venue.

Tanya Lattimer, Hollins Hall's wedding coordinator said, "Hollins Hall has hosted many wedding fayres and showcase events but a preloved wedding fayre is a first for us. We're looking forward to seeing the preloved items that are available on what can be an expensive day and also to see how much money we can help raise for Age UK Bradford District."

The charity is encouraging everyone to add the date to their calendar and pick up a bargain or two whilst supporting a good cause. If people have any wedding items they would like to donate, Age UK Bradford District have 6 hubs in Shipley, Idle, Wrose, Keighley, Allerton and Queensbury.
