Our Gardening team provide a range of services to make your garden flourish. This includes, Mowing, Strimming, Pruning, Potting, Weeding, General Maintenance, Clearance and Landscaping.

What can Active Living Gardening Services do?

Our gardening service enhances and enriches the lives of older people by visiting individual gardens to carry out specific, agreed tasks, enabling independent living.

We understand that a garden is hugely important for well-being. We therefore aim to make this a healthy, relaxing, safe space where you or your family member can unwind and retreat.

We can help with:

· Mowing
· Weeding
· Potting Pruning
· Path clearing
· Hedge and shrub trimming (not over head height)
· Tidying of sheds and greenhouses

Our Staff

Our staff deliver a safe and caring service - with an emphasis on promoting independence, health, and well-being. They go through a rigorous screening process including two references, a DBS check (for criminal records and other important information) and a comprehensive training programme.

Please call our Gateway on 01872 266383.
A team member will ask you some questions about yourself or family member to find out some general information and gardening tasks required.

You will be contacted to arrange a home visit. During this visit our team member will assess your garden and discuss your specific needs. If you would like to go ahead with the service, we will complete some paperwork.

Important Information

At present we are unable to work at heights which requires a ladder due to insurance purposes.

Our team love dogs but please ensure any animal feces are cleared from the garden before the gardener commences the work.

We are unable to take green waste away, but we can support you to organise a green waste collection from the Council, compost at your property or bag up the waste to be taken away by a friend or family member.

The service is currently available in Mid and parts of West Cornwall depending on Capacity. We are hoping to expand the service to cover additional areas in the future, please speak to us to find out more.
