Welcome to Work Well. A free early-intervention service for people whose health is making work difficult.

What is WorkWell?

A friendly, experienced WorkWell coach can offer tailored advice and support to help you manage your condition, boost your confidence, and stay in or get back to work.

Whether you're in work or recently out of work due to a physical or mental health condition, or disability, WorkWell offers the guidance and tools to help you feel ready for your next steps.

“I don't know what I would have done without the support of WorkWell. They have been so incredibly supportive, a real safe space to 'hear' me”

WorkWell is for you if:

· You’re over 16 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
· You have a Cornwall or Isles of Scilly address for either your home, GP, or your local job centre.
· You're in work but struggling due to a health issue or disability.
· You’ve recently been on sick leave or out of work due to your health.
· You want help figuring out your next step.

How WorkWell can help.

· Having a ‘what matters to you’ impartial and supportive conversation.
· Working with you to create a plan that fits your needs.
· Support can be over the phone, online, or in person.

For example, a WorkWell coach can help with:
· Advice on talking to your employer about reasonable adjustments.
· Boosting confidence and resilience at work.
· Support with understanding and managing your health condition.
· Signposting to other community support services based on your needs.
· Help with CV writing, job searching and preparing for interviews.

“This WorkWell session helped me gather my thoughts and feel confident to ask my manager for the help I need.”

Health conditions may include:
· Physical pain (e.g. back or joint pain).
· Mental health issues such as depression or anxiety.
· Women’s health conditions (e.g. menopause, endometriosis).
· Long-term conditions like diabetes or epilepsy, plus many more.
· Understanding the impact of a new health diagnosis.

“No one had ever asked me how my condition was affecting my life - until WorkWell did.”

How do I refer to the service?
