Do you have a passion for the creative arts? Do you like supporting and encouraging others to tap into their creative side? Then we have just the opportunity for you!

Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire have set up a Creative Arts Social Group every Wednesday 1:00 to 3:00pm, at our office, in Hereford at Drybridge House, St Martins Street, HR2 7SG.

We are looking for friendly, welcoming people to help assist in the delivery of the session and to help support the members, to make tea and coffee etc. There is no pressure to attend every single week, we know people have lots of other commitments!

We all know the benefits of art and how being creative is calming for people. There are many more benefits, such as:

  • Boosting confidence
  • Meeting new people
  • Improve health and wellbeing
  • Give a sense of purpose
  • Being part of a group and sense of belonging
  • Learn a new or develop an existing skill
  • Sharing knowledge and skills

As a volunteer at Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire you will receive a full induction, including our in-house certificated Bitesize training, and a DBS check where necessary.
