Our Men in Sheds project is a place where like minded older men can get together and have a chat over tea and biscuits whilst carrying out meaningful DIY work - like hands on activities that men have always enjoyed doing.
We offer a variety of opportunities ranging from charity shop work, supporting craft sessions, driving and odd jobs, through to roles that have a strong training element such as befriending, insurance, and information & advice.
Residents of the Penistone Area were invited to the launch of the Social Inclusion Project (Penistone) on Thursday 23rd February, 11:00am – 1:00pm at the St John’s Community Centre, Church Street, Penistone S36 6AR. The event was held in the Lower Hall.
