Elizabeth Activity and Care Relief Assistant

1x post: Zero hours contract £20,527 (£10.89per hr) to £23,713 (£12.58) Pro. Rata. Salary review pending

We are looking for a committed and caring Relief Assistant to support the running of our busy Elizabeth Activity and Care Centre which provides a friendly, stimulating environment for older people in need of a little extra support and is an important part of our mission to make Barnsley the best place to grow old in.

Age UK Barnsley is an independent local charity with a mission to promote the dignity, wellbeing, independence, inclusion and choice of older people in the Barnsley Borough.

We are currently on an exciting journey of transforming the services we deliver for our older residents, and promoting that good work is integral to our plans for future growth.

Enthusiasm, commitment and a ‘can-do’ attitude are just as important to us as your experience and skills – if you are passionate about making a difference for older people in Barnsley, we want to hear from you.
