Our previous Charity of the Year partnerships have included:

B & Q

In 2008, B & Q chose to support Age UK. This Charity of the Year initiative raised over £100,000 through quarterly collections and staff fundraising events.

Morrisons

In 2008, Morrisons staff chose to support Help the Aged and ChildLine, who teamed up to combat abuse and neglect across the generations.

The ‘Generations for Generations Partnership’ between Help the Aged and ChildLine was awarded Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign at the National Fundraising Awards 2009.

The partnership came to an end on 31 March 2009, having raised over £1million.

Tesco

Tesco chose Age Concern as their Charity of the Year for 2005.

From a target of £2million‚ the campaign raised an amazing £2.6 million to help combat social isolation and poverty amongst vulnerable older people in local communities.

HBOS

In 2008 Age Concern were chosen as one of three charities to benefit from the HBOS Charity of the Year programme, The £1 Million Challenge 2008.

HBOS colleagues and customers organised and participated in a variety of fundraising activities including dress down days, a holiday raffle‚ a fashion show and much more.
