We are proud to work with Handicare to ensure our customers receive first-class service.

One of life’s great pleasures is relaxing in a hot bath, or easing away aches and pains with a steaming shower. But it’s not quite so enjoyable when you’re worried about slipping, or concerned about how you’re going to get out of the bath.

That’s why the Age UK Group has specially selected a range of products designed to put the ease and comfort back into bathing.

Outstanding customer service and professional installation

We’re sure you’re going to love the bathrooms featured here, but an Age UK Bathroom is about more than having a new shower or walk-in bath installed in your home. Outstanding customer service with your own dedicated project manager, and high quality installation by time-served professionals are just as important to us as they are to you.

Frequently asked questions

Q. Can you give me an idea of costs?

A. Handicare’s prices start from around £4,000 but the exact price will depend on the product and the layout of your bathroom. The simplest way to determine what the exact price will be is to arrange a free, no obligation home survey.

Q. What does a home technical survey involve?

A. A Handicare surveyor will visit to discuss your needs and to identify which products are most suitable for you and your bathroom – now and in the future. The visit and technical survey will take 60-90 minutes and is completely free and without obligation to buy. You will be left with information and a written quotation.

Q. How do I know a Handicare bathing product will be suitable for me?

A. When Handicare survey your bathroom the surveyor will go through a series of questions to find out not only your current needs and requirements, but what will be beneficial in the future. This process ensures that when your product is installed it is ideal for your bathroom and your specific needs.

Q. Is government assistance available?

A. You may be eligible for government support to purchase your bathing solution. We recommend that you contact your local authority to find out further details. Please note timescales from one area of the country to another may vary and this is a means tested service.

Q. Is there a guarantee on the bathing product?

A. All shower trays, enclosures, doors and walk-in baths are supplied with a manufacturers lifetime product guarantee (please ask an adviser for further details). All ancillary equipment (for example shower chairs, light and heating fittings) and installation work is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months.
