Get Going Together is a health and wellbeing programme helping older people take part in physical activity.
Exercise brings physical and mental benefits and gives you the opportunity to socialise with others. So we want to encourage older people to lead a more active life.
Get Going Together
Activities on offer as part of Get Going Together range from one-to-one support in the home to group classes. These could include chair-based exercises, zumba and Nordic walking. Participants are offered individual support to find which activity best suits them.

How to volunteer
There are volunteering opportunities in all five areas, ranging from one-to-one mentoring to leading group classes. If you would like to get involved, please contact your local Age UK directly.
