We offer free confidential up-to-date welfare rights advice and wraparound wellbeing support for people aged 50 plus and their significant others (families, carers, friends etc).
How we can help you
• We listen to your needs
• We explain the choices you have open to you.
• We help you with decisions about your life and to be legally and financially secure.
• If you want us to, we may be able to take action on your behalf.
Some examples of topics we can help with:
• Benefit check
• Form filling (benefits like Attendance Allowance, Pension Credits, Blue Badge, travel passes, pre-operation forms, state pensions and other money issues)
• Accessing care at home, social care assessment
• Caring for a loved one
• Energy support
• Scams and consumer advice
• Wellbeing - joining a new group, starting again to do activities of daily living
• Accessing information and services online
• Housing
& much more
And – if we are not able to help, we will try to put you in touch with people who can help.
How to access this service
To access this service please contact us on the phone number or email address listed at the top of this page. You can book an appointment at one of our offices in Runcorn or St Helens, at a convenient local venue or if you struggle to get out the house we can come to visit you at home.
Please note that his service is currently only available for residents of Halton, St Helens and Knowsley.
