Toyologist Peter Jenkinson gives us his top tips for presents that the grandkids will enjoy finding under the tree this year:
'It’s not just high-tech toys that are top on wish lists this year. There’s definitely been a shift back towards more traditional toys in the past few months, largely driven by parents and gift-givers as they look for more value and longevity from their presents.
'There are loads of good deals to be had; Smyths Toys and Argos always provide decent pre-season deals so it's worth shopping around online.
'And athough stories have started to surface on impending shortages of some lines of toys, I suggest largely ignoring those - paying any kind of premium is playing right into the hands of those creating hysteria around their brands.'
